Large figures are the median CPM (creator fee ÷ recent average views × 1,000, USD); “typical” is the middle half of deals, excluding service fees. YouTube tiers use subscribers.
Reading the number
A low CPM is not always a deal.
Use recent averages
Use average views on recent posts, not one viral hit. A single spike inflates average views and makes CPM look lower than it is.
YouTube influencer marketingSmall accounts cost more per view
Among creators we worked with, tiers under 100K followers usually had higher median CPMs: about $14 for TikTok at 10K–50K versus $10 at 100K–300K.

Methodology
Where these numbers come from.
Benchmarks come from TikTok, YouTube and Instagram collaborations Bioby published from November 2025 to October 2026. CPM = agreed creator fee ÷ the creator’s average views on recent posts before the deal × 1,000, in US dollars, excluding Bioby service fees.
Large figures are medians. “Typical” is the middle half of deals, from the 25th to the 75th percentile, rounded to $1. Tiers use follower or subscriber counts at the time of the deal. Tiers with few deals are left out, including Instagram creators over 1M followers.
Average views come from posts before the deal, so the sponsored post may do better or worse. Review against actual views after publishing. Data last updated October 2026.
Questions about influencer CPM
How do you calculate influencer CPM?
CPM = creator fee ÷ views × 1,000, the cost of a thousand views. Before booking, estimate with the creator’s recent average views; after publishing, review with actual views.
What is a typical TikTok influencer CPM?
Across collaborations Bioby published from November 2025 to October 2026, the median TikTok creator CPM was about $11, with the middle half between $5 and $27. Tiers above 100K followers had medians of about $9–11. Service fees excluded.
What about YouTube and Instagram?
The median YouTube creator CPM was about $19, with the middle half between $10 and $39. Instagram was about $11, between $4 and $28. Service fees excluded.
Can I compare influencer CPM with ad CPM?
As a reference, yes, but they measure different things: ad CPM is billed on impressions, creator CPM is estimated from views, and creator deals often include bio links or ad authorization. Look at engagement and conversions too.
Where does the data come from?
From agreed creator fees and recent average views before deals Bioby published, summarized as medians and middle-half ranges by platform and tier, with no personal information about any creator. Data last updated October 2026.
